Analysis of synchronous oscillation of MMC-HVDC in offshore wind farm

چکیده

Abstract Due to the special meteorological conditions of offshore wind power generation and large turbines used, doubly-fed have larger shafting elastic coefficients than onshore turbines. When farm is connected grid through MMC-HVDC, two kinds sub-synchronous oscillations are caused. One natural torsional vibration turbine shaft system, other oscillation caused by interaction between devices in MMC-HVDC converter control system. In view above problems, connection model established. The eigenvalue analysis method participation factor used identify mode device, as well corresponding strong correlation state variables. According variables obtained, parameter suppression strategy CCSC controller based on MMC valve optimization proposed. effectiveness proposed verified PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation software.
